Second is the Quick Storm Search. Tap this button, type in the name of the storm to filter the list of storms, and touch the storm you want to add.
Third, there is the storm summary. Normally this tells you how many storms you’re tracking. Tap it, and it expands to show you the name of every storm currently being tracked. Hold it and it will take you to the menu to change which storms you are tracking.
Fourth is the auto-scale button. You can spin the map and zoom in or out. The auto-scale button allows you to scale the globe to make all storms visible with one touch.\n\nThis will also cancel any animation in progress.
Fifth is the play button, which allows you to see how the hurricanes progressed from when it was first identified and tracked by the NHC.\n\nWhen animating the storm progression, 2 circles will show how wide the tropical-storm-strength winds (larger circle) and hurricane-strength winds (smaller circle). There is not a circle that shows the eye size.
Sixth, is the airplane button. Touch this button to fly through the path of the storm in an incredible 3D experience.
When Animating, Storm details are displayed at the bottom of the map.
When Animating, there are Pause/Play controls for the animation.
